Alex began writing for the Edison Light Bulb as a second grader in 2010. He can build and take apart just about anything, and makes amazing cakes (believe me, I've tasted them)!

Alex, I’m glad to see our recipe card on the blog. We found it taped inside a kitchen cabinet when we bought our house 12 years ago. The woman we bought the house from used it regularly, I’m sure. We use it a lot, too! Nice job, master chef!
Alex, now I’ve seen the chart, and pictures of stuff you’ve made with it. If you ever need someone to be a taste tester, let me know! Do you ever change the proportions or add different ingredients? Does it work to improvise like that?
