Plane Facts
By James W., 5th Grade
There are hundreds of planes. Many are made for the Air Force, and they have special abilities.
The C-130 departs flares because if there’s a heat-seeking missile, it will follow the hot flares instead of the plane, and then when the missile hits the flare, it just blows itself up and the plane is safe. And sometimes at an Airshow they show a c-130 departing flares.
Stealth planes are basically invisible. You can’t detect it on radar because it’s so sleek and it’s black. It usually bombs at night.

Hi James: Thanks. When I was your age it was during World War II!!—l940’s. We collected pictures (on cards like playing cards) of airplanes. My favorite was P-51 Mustang. I also liked the P-38 & the P-40. Bet you can google them!

great article James! We’ll have to go see more airshows.
Here I’ll fix that. The P-51 was a good plane. If you want to see it more, watch the movie Redtails. My favorite planes are probably the B-52 and the Sherman.
Really cool James.
